Caring for Mother

Harrowing tale of a young refugee girl left alone to care for her dying/dead mother.

There are over 700,000 young carers in UK. Looking after adults and siblings with no support and in often very traumatic situations.

CARING FOR MOTHER is a short fiction film made to raise awareness of burden on young carers and the over-stretched care system. As well as the desperate situation some refugees are in, even after they have been granted asylum.
